FAQs

Questions people ask

How much does the recording studio cost?

£36 per hour for recording and mixing.

Who is the studio for?

Solo artists, singers, groups and bands, and anyone who wants a good-sounding recording without paying big-studio prices. It’s also the studio our kids pop star parties record in.

Are you in Stockton?

We’re in Thornaby, which is part of the borough of Stockton-on-Tees, rather than in Stockton town centre. Artists and bands come to us from Stockton, Middlesbrough, Yarm and across Teesside, and there’s free parking at the rear.

How do I book?

Studio sessions are booked online. Pick a date and time and pay, and you’ll get an online account where you can see, rearrange or cancel your booking.

How do I plan a session?

Email us with what you want to record, how many people are involved and roughly when, and we’ll talk through how long you’ll need.

Can I learn to record and produce myself?

Yes. We teach one-to-one studio recording and production lessons, covering recording, mixing and producing your own tracks.

Can I cancel or move a session?

Yes, through your online account. You need to give at least 48 hours’ notice. With less than that, no credit or refund can be given.
