Questions people ask
How much does a rehearsal room cost?
£14 per hour for the room, PA, three mics and stands. Add a drum kit for £8, or a guitar cab, guitar combo or bass combo for £5 each per rehearsal.
When can we rehearse?
Monday to Thursday from 3pm to 10pm, and Sunday evenings from 7pm to 10pm. You can see live availability and book online.
What’s in the room?
Two Electro-Voice EKX 15-inch full-range speakers, a Yamaha EMX powered mixer, three Shure SM58 microphones and stands, a drum mat and air conditioning. The rooms are acoustically treated and about 5.5m by 3.5m.
How do we load in?
Everything is on the ground floor. Load in through the fire exit door by the car park: come in through the front entrance first and open that door from the inside.
Which room are we in?
There’s a screen above each rehearsal room door showing the names and times of that room’s bookings, so you’ll see yours when you arrive.
Are you in Stockton?
We’re in Thornaby, which is part of the borough of Stockton-on-Tees, rather than in Stockton town centre. Bands come to us from Stockton, Middlesbrough, Yarm and across Teesside, and there’s free parking at the rear.
How do we book?
All rehearsal room bookings are made online. Pick a room, date and time and pay, and you’ll get an online account where you can see, rearrange or cancel your bookings at any time.
Can we cancel or move a booking?
Yes, through your online account: log in, open the booking and rearrange or cancel it there. You need to give at least 48 hours’ notice. With less than that, the booking can’t be moved or refunded.
